Not on the WinXP-IE side you don't have to change anything. Check if the VMware is setup correctly.

Ramsey I've encountered some problems with your last version of XP Integral. I had to revert back to the previous one done in June 2019 which is error free.

The August Integral version 2019 causes a missing PC bus and audio driver failure. The RealTek 2.0 audio drivers fail to install at all in my Toshiba Satellite laptop. I've no idea why this is happening! I installed it twice to confirm these errors.

Strange, Not many things have changed between this versions.
Try to execute this file below after the June.2019 installation and check if you run into the same problem.

Thanks for this Ramsey. What Im going to do as I have the June release installed running smoothly, is wait for your next integral release(I think in the Blog you recently mention that a later Nov release will have little differences) and see how that installs. If I encounter any issues I will right click the reg entries you kindly gave as attachment and see how it goes from there.

By the way were there any NetFramework changes from June version until August 2019? When I watched the Framework install for June it went from 4.0 downwards, but I saw 4.5 Net Framework flash up in the August version installer. I surmised it could have been this 4.5 which caused my issues for last Integral version. Thanks again for your help.

Hey, man! I'm also impatient for the November updates but it ain't cool to ask a dev to rush a release. It ain't "kind" at all. The updates & mods needs to be tested out thoroughly, not swiftly. I don't want a shoddy build of Windows, only to have compatibility problems & bugs issue & wait for the next fixed build then reinstall Windows & other software all over again. Do you?

Here is a test version which dose not include the SSE2 updates. Everyone that has a CPU which doesn't support SSE2 should try this one out and report back if it works. Then i can work on a All-in-One version.

Hey, I keep getting stuck at the end of the installation at the ''Registering components'' step. I have searched it online and I have unplugged everything from the computer except for a USB keyboard (that came with this computer) and an old BenQ VGA monitor of the same era as this PC (CPU Athlon 1800+, 2x256MB PC-2100 RAM). I have read that it may be do to old drivers having issues with the ones that XP is trying to install. I have previously installed multiple versions of PuppyLinux, but I have wiped the HDD multiple times. Does it have to do with data stored on the motherboard? Have you ever heard of that happening? What should I do?

Make sure you're doing a clean install with this Windows XP homebrew, not upgrading!

If you're installing this on a VMware VM, make sure you don't use the Easy Install option! When creating the VM, pick the "I will install the operating system later" option instead of the first two options!

There is some truth in this and it is not paranoia. Im from UK by the way!
Just analyse logs of any decent firewall and you will see loads of connections to sites in China? etc using Maxthon. Hopefully your firewall blocks these or warns. This is similar to the android app Kingroot which roots your tablet for free but has dozen of connections to Chinese mainland, despite stating it does not do this kind of thing. Ramsey stick with Basilisk for you.

Best to prevent connections in the first place by using a good firewall. That said I've noticed Maxthon connects a lot to foreign servers when I once used it, but then again does Chrome. Evil Google beware!

          Ramsey · 17:41 31.10.2019
Chrome has more connections to the USA than Maxthon to China.
And connections don't say anything about privacy it's what's being transferred over this connections what counts.

It's for sure not a BotNet. You guys in the USA and most of the Vessel States get too much propaganda if it comes to China and Russia.

Gee, sounds like shilling to me! I for one support a community XP-compatible fork of a browser made by just one developer who does it in his FREE time more than a yet another corporate soulless chinese browser that is proven to have data security issues: https://www.securityweek.com/maxthon-browser-sends-sensitive-data-china

This could be true but FireFox also includes google's SafeBrowsing which can see the sites you visiting and see what you're downloading.
If you live in a western country you data can be used to get your real identity and then they can also use this data against you, which China cannot do except you live in China.

If the user knows what is he doing, he can disable the remote checks for downloads by SB either manually by changing/adding preferences about:config, or by a user.js file like the ghacks-user.js one. Here's an excerpt of the ghacks user js regarding SafeBrowsing: https://github.com/ghacksuserjs/ghacks-user.js/blob/master/user.js#L283

I will see if i can add Maxthon. The auto update option is a big plus. But the question is for how long will they still support Windows XP.
      EDIT:
I'm not sure if i can add Maxthon because it will exceed the 700 MB Disc limit. I will see what i can do.
