      @siuL you use the patch integrator to apply the patches to the ISO - then use RMPrepUSB to make a USB.

      @Pensioner Panda seems to be the best available at the moment and is stable with nagging ads promoting upgrading. But disable USB check option or Panda program itself when attaching external hard drives as it locks the system even if you give exception to a file it thinks is a virus.

      This theme only exits for Windows XP.
      It was also not easy to get it for Windows XP because it wasn't free.

      This Disney theme is just a heavily modified Luna theme. Since Luna only works with XP, this Disney theme also only works with XP. However, there are probably OTHER Disney themes that exist for newer versions of Windows.

      @Grissa all driver updaters are big if u use the complete pack with around 21 gigs in size; driver pack solution is cluttered and iobit installs strange stuff, snappy driver installer origin is simple and it just works

    While some people say "hey you have a few mb left before you hit the 700 mb limit, let's find more useless crap to fill it up with!", I take the opposite approach. Strip out everything that's not directly from Microsoft, except the browser, because most of the sites where you'll find better browsers don't work anymore with the version of IE that shipped with XP.

    But I'm happy to see you've finally replaced potplayer with VLC

      @Katie Boundary I agree with you over Potplayer as it updates silently and is a pain to configure, but VLC for me would not play even some basic avi's avi's(xvid) and jumped like hell playing h265. Potplayer managed all formats smoothly but h265 was problematic for it, but not as much as VLC which was a pain to navigate its GUI options and kept crashing frequently.

      I reverted back to Media Player HC 1.713 XP and it plays everything okay apart from the odd juddery h265 now and again, but does not crash and it is faster than above two

      @nah I guarantee I have never NEEDED any one specific browser, or any one specific media player, or any one specific .7z archiver. I have never used IObit unlocker or any of the other optional bullshit that is included here. Even for the things that I do need, it's better to get them directly from the source than from a pirate website.

    Hello, as recommended in the readme I have installed this in a virtual machine. All went well except -grpconv.exe didn't run because I didn't have enough rights.
    Now that XP has started I don't have enough rights to change the screen settings, even though I'm logged in as administrator.
    Did something go wrong? What can I do?

      The VM doesn't seem to offer the option of pre-formatting a new disk. It was formatted during the installation.

      @Ramsey It is an older version of VirtualBox, not real old but my CPU doesn't have the fancy virtualisation instructions.
      However the XP that is installed will allow me to format a new virtual disk, so I could start again with a formatted disk?

    Hello Everyone, I have been trying to install Integral Edition 2020.9.9 to a system with no floppy, no working CD and won't boot from USB. I put the ISO file contents into a separate partition and started it with winnt.exe. It has not been smooth sailing but I finally got it to install without errors. But now it is asking for a VLM key to complete the setup, which I don't have. What have I done wrong? And is there anything I can do from here? Thankyou for any advise.

      @mattrix You can place at the root of the partition the txtsetup.sif modifed by:
      [SetupData]
      BootPath = "\I386\"
      SetupSourceDevice = "\GLOBAL??\C:"
      Add ntdetect.com and setupldr.bin renamed as ntldr (replace the original ntldr one if any)
      Copy the content of the iso to root partition (only I386 and OEM folders are really needed)
      Make that partition active.
      You can use bootice to install bootloader mbr or bootsect.exe /nt52 YourModifiedPartionLetter: /mbr if that partition/disk doesn't have bootloader code.
      Start your pc only with that disk.
