(#) How to do a fresh Windows 10 installation:

1. Burn the Windows 10 ISO file on a DVD disc by using a Brun program like CDBurnerXP (http://cdburnerxp.se) or use Rufus (http://rufus.ie) to create a bootable USB Flash Drive with the Windows 10 ISO file.
2. Do a BACKUP of your important files on a separate Drive.
3. To avoid accidentally creating a Windows 10 Online Account or running into the Account bug (Other user), disconnect your Computer from the Internet before you install.
4. At the Windows 10 Setup menu select "Custom: Install Windows only (advanced)".
5. Delete all the old Windows Partitions and then click on install (Be very careful to select the correct hard disk drive).

Where can I get any language pack to use at installation time?
    • This commment is unpublished.
      Ramsey · 7 months ago
@Newton Simply change the Windows 10 Language in the settings menu. And then Windows 10 will automatically downland everything and change the language after a new computer restart.

I just installed the latest Win 10 Integral (April 12, 2023 version). When I start up , I received "the system registry contains invalid paths" then it restarts. Any way to fix this?

@John Did you try the fix that is posted everywhere on the web when you search for this error?

Many thanks, this looks exciting !
Can I do an "upgrade" install with this edition too, e.g. from an existing Win 8.1 installation ? Can I upgrade from a Win 7 or Win 8.1 edition of a different language (e.g. German) to your Win10 Integrator edition too or would I have to do a clean install instead.

Another important question that came to my mind - it appears that this edition of Win_10 allows the user to "select" the desired edition (i.e. Pro, Home, Edu, Enterprise, etc). How to select the desired edition ? Such as the Enterprise / LTSC branch ?? This would be most interesting as LTSC usually entails 10 years of security updates / patches.

    kind regards
    Maxx

@Maxx Yes the upgrade option is working too on this Windows 10 with all the other Windows 10 options.

The LTSC is totally different edition which has many thinks not included and you will get new Windows factor updates like 1-2 years later.

@Ramsey Many thanx for outlining this. Is there any chance you released an LTSC "integrator" edition of Win_10 in the future ??

      kind regards,
      Maxx

@Maxx For now there is no point in an LTSC edition. When the end of support arrives in 2025, I think there will be some kind off hack to get all the LTSC updates also onto the other Windows 10 editions. And by then Windows 12 will be not far away too.

    Dear Ramsey,
I need to install this Windows 10 Pro N on the laptop with Intel Core i7-1165G7 (Tiger Lake); of course it has UEFI. At the moment I do not have a key.  Would it suffice to switch Secure Boot OFF, or should I do something else? Thanks in advance.

@Eugene You don't need a Key to install this Windows 10.

@Ramsey Dear Ramsey, thanks a lot. Installed from USB flash drive made by Rufus 3.18 in NTFS format (!) without any problems.

Dear Ramsey, I'm wondering if you have any tip on how to remove Microsoft Edge completely. There's the known icon left in the start menu that nobody seems to know how to get rid of. I tried several scripts and debloaters, including the FreeTimeTech and Chris Titus ones. Yesterday I tried with MSMG Toolkit and the Microsoft Edge removal gave this error: https://ibb.co/album/1Zhr7n Maybe you, or some friends here, faced this issues and solved them successfully ? How do you personally debloat your setups ? Cheers, V.

Delete the file below if it exists.
      C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\LayoutModification.xml

@Ramsey Thank you Ramsey, this tip will be of great help in the future whenever there will be unremovable tiles. It worked for the tile's part of the menu, while in the start menu the "ghost" Edge icon still remains. Will try again with MSMG Toolkit, on one ISO I succeeded while on another one completely failed. Might it be a matter of dependencies of other services/software on Edge's libraries ?

      @Virgus
For the left side Start Menu you need to delete the Shortcut files in the folders below.
      C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs
      C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs

@Ramsey The wierdest thing: MS Edge is not there. According to the many forums I've read nobody has found why that Edge "ghost" icon is there. It might be another file like "LayoutModification.xml" hidden somewhere in the system. A real mistery🤔. If I discover something new I'll drop a line here. In any case thanks always for you support.🙏
