(#) How to do a fresh Windows 10 installation:

1. Burn the Windows 10 ISO file on a DVD disc by using a Brun program like CDBurnerXP (http://cdburnerxp.se) or use Rufus (http://rufus.ie) to create a bootable USB Flash Drive with the Windows 10 ISO file.
2. Do a BACKUP of your important files on a separate Drive.
3. To avoid accidentally creating a Windows 10 Online Account or running into the Account bug (Other user), disconnect your Computer from the Internet before you install.
4. At the Windows 10 Setup menu select "Custom: Install Windows only (advanced)".
5. Delete all the old Windows Partitions and then click on install (Be very careful to select the correct hard disk drive).

I have installed windows 10, and after installation process it goes directly into the windows 10 logging in screen. What is the user name and password?

      Ramsey · 4 years ago
@Jt No password was set and you should not be asked for one if you didn't set one at the setup installation.

Thank you for providing this well built Win10 distro. I'm a big fan of your XP Black as well :-) My install went smoothly except fr some confusion on the last step of Activation. I could not find the .dll file that requires virus scan exclusion; there was an .exe with the same name. Also I am not familiar with how Windows anit-virus works.

@aroundi I would say do a full scan with Windows Defender or the anti-virus of your choice and then add the .dll file to the exclusions list if it finds it. If it doesn't detect the .dll file I wouldn't worry about that step. The reason you have to do that is because Windows activators often cause false readings with most anti-virus programs.

With "Windows 10 Enterprise 1809 x64 - Integral Edition 2018.12.15", I got "Driver not found" during installation. Worrying this one would do the same... Anyway to find out what driver is missing and how to put it in?
    • This commment is unpublished.
      Ramsey · 4 years ago
@abc It is not possible for Microsoft to include every single driver. You should run the Windows Update after the Windows 10 installation or download the driver manual for the chip manufacturers website.

@Ramsey I got the message actually at the very start of the WIN10 installation, that's even before it's able to list which drive to install. My guess is a very important driver is missing in the iso!

      Ramsey · 4 years ago
@abc If you cannot install this ISO then you will be unable to install any Windows 10. You should post a screenshot about the error you get. And you should try Windows 10 1903 they include more Up-to-Date drivers by Microsoft.

@abc This looks like a SATA driver problem. It would be better if you redownload the ISO from this website.

@joe When you check for updates then this option will hidden itself for 1or2 days. Don't know why Microsoft did this.

Hello there. Is this version of windows based on any update from the Insider Preview or is it the actual release from 21 May 2019 (aka May Update)? I'm afraid of running into erros using this version. Is it safe to install it or it has bugs? Thanks again.
    • This commment is unpublished.
      Ramsey · 4 years ago
@Levi All new Windows 10 1903 updates are for the OS build "18362.1" and up. And yes this Win10-IE includes the latest May updates. And the method in which the updates are include (slipstream) is the same like Microsoft is doing.

I want to make sure I have the correct file, can you post the checksum of the 64bit ISO file? Mine:

@Guest Yes this is the correct one. The SHA-1 is also in the file name when you download it from this website.

      Ramsey · 4 years ago
@joe Go to the "Windows Update" menu and then select "Advanced option" and set the "Choose when updates are installed" to "64"/"4" and then run the update check. In the latest Win10-IE version i have set this as a default setting.
