    Does this XP support the SSD trim command?

      @SSD It does, but not automatically, you'll need to use a 3rd party tool and run it manually.

    It's good for make upgrade solution for old integral edition. It's too hard to newly install.

      @Dp a new install is actually easier to do than doing an upgrade install.

    Hi guys,
    1st of all, thank you for the hard work! this stuff is awesome!

    i have a dell xps13 9370 and need to have windows xp on it. i managed to get the win xp installation to boot and it sees my m.2 drive. i used options 1,2,3,4,5,7,A,B,C,E. now when the system reboots in the middle of the installation it will briefly show win xp logo booting which is good but than it will give the A5 error. i tried to re-install and hit F7 but if i do that the system hangs and freezes at the very next page of the install. any ideas on how to proceed?

      I encountered a similar problem on my TRX40 designare - I think the issue is ACPI related.

      The best solution I've found to date is to use a separate PCI-E USB3 card as these will work consistently in XP by not being tied to the motherboards ACPI tables.

    For some reason XP initiated the repair disk feature on every boot up for both C and D drives.  I solved this by doing below:

    Open command prompt by typing cmd in the Run box.
    Put in the below commands and press Enter!

    chkntfs /x D:
    chkntfs /x C:

      @Jacko Replace ntfs with fat32 for other format

      @Jacko
      I wouldn't recommend this
      fat32 has no file system security and has a 4GB file size limit.

      @infuscomus Totally right mate, just put other option in for those who might have it. NTFS is the way to go.

      yes your CPU usage for youtube is way too high - install your GPU driver.

      unless you are using a CPU from 1998 in which case that CPU usage level is normal.

    Can anyone tell me how can you actually update the system, if there is a new version, but I already installed a previous one? I hope, I don't need a new reinstall.

      @sqpp You can do this by hand (manually) see the changelog.

      @Ramsey Thanks, how am I supposed to install newer root certificates?
    • This commment is unpublished.
      Ramsey · 11 days ago
      @sqpp
      You can update the root certificates by opening the files "rootsupd.ex_" and "rvkroots.ex_" in the ISO/Disc folder ".\I386" with a Zip-Archive program like 7-Zip and then simply execute the .exe files.

      I got it working on my TRX40 DESIGNARE

      What BSOD did you get?

      Make sure you use the optional patch integrator, you need the ACPI, AHCI, NVMe, USB3 and HAL timer patches.

      Oh I encountered this problem when I tried to install too.

      It seems the XP kernel does not like  seeing more than 32 CPUs, for my 3960x I discovered that if I turned off multithreading to get 24 CPUs then it worked, I think for a 3970x and up you might need to switch off some of the cores too, but I don't have one so I'm not 100% sure.
